Bessmer Industries LLC was founded to pursue ambitious, testable science and design projects that don’t fit neatly into traditional institutions due to multi-disciplinary needs or speculative foundations. The backgrounds of our team include Marine Biology, Genetics, Environmental Science, Geology, Psychology, Linguistics, Economics, Energy Research, and Secondary Education.

Bessmer Industries was created as a platform to:

Advance Frontier Science, including falsifiable models of dark matter and dark energy (Potato Sack Cosmology).
Explore Legacy Futures, from memorials of humanity coded into the "junk" (non-coding) DNA of organisms likely to outlive the human race to the deliberate placement deep-time archival artifacts designed to last on geologic timescales.
Provide consulting, seminars, and collaboration with universities, research labs, and cultural organizations.
Seek grant funding to bring scientific and engineering breakthroughs into reality
